The Broward County Judaica High School program brings teens, 7th-12th grade, from all over the county, affiliated and unaffiliated, together to study, socialize and share meaningful Jewish learning experiences together.  Our teachers are of the highest caliber, and utilize technology along with contemporary, interactive teaching methods to engage the students as active participants in the learning process.  Our Judaica High Teens meet once a week, at their choice of three campus locations.  Preview each campus for individual class schedule.

Dual enrollment/college credit  through Broward College is available to those who qualify.

Our curriculum, based on a 5-year program of study, leads to graduation from
the Judaica High School. We offer courses in seven major areas of study -
TANACH (Bible), Tefillot (Prayer), Mitzvot/Ethics, The Rhythms of Jewish Life,
Israel, Jewish Art and Culture,  and History.

One of our many goals at Judaica High, is to effectively teach our teens Jewish values and mitzvot.  These lessons are  taught in the classroom as well as in real-life community based social action opportunities. This helps ensure they don't just learn Judaism, but live Judaism.   In addition to the course curriculum, students will also participate in holiday observance programs as they occur throughout the calendar year.

How will YOUR teen benefit from Judaica High School?
  • Learn and study about your roots, your history, your origins, your uniqueness, your role in the Jewish community, your people's role in the world community and so much more.
  • Meet other Jewish teens from around the community who have made the same commitment as you.
  • Select courses from assorted offerings and in doing so learn about the subjects of your choice.
  • Be instrumental in suggesting new and interesting additional subject matter which can be made into a course which might be taught in your school.
  • Be a part of our early selection of students planning to go on the March of the Living. JHS teens will be eligible to go with over 7,000 world teens to Poland and to Israel.
  • Share our love for Israel. Over 60% of our graduates have had an Israel experience

Teens who participate in the combination of the social and educational programming at Judaica High, will graduate with a strong personal Jewish identity, preparing them for a future of Jewish learning and  involvement  as active and responsible members in our Jewish community.
